Synema are not merely the sum of their influences, in fact
they really do have their own sound.

Overall, I thought the CD was original and contained sufficient
layers to bear repeated listening. The two band members are obviously very at
home in the studio and are extremely competent musicians and composers. Well
worth checking out for something a little different.

This is a highly recommended band to watch out for. I see
big things happening for Synema!

Musically SYNEMA is playing a style not related to any US
band, because what we hear on 'E4APO1' is high quality pure British Neo-Progressive

The music on this concept album can be described as a very
melodic and atmospherical space rock blended with other prog elements. The music
is mostly keyboard oriented, with soft textures layered over a wall of synths
and fine accoustic and electric guitar passages.
I must say that "E4AOP1" is a rather original album.
While listening to it, I was waiting to hear some definite influences. It was
useless, however, as the album is completely free of them.

This album sounds great on headphones, and really grabs you
when the pace quickens, such as on "Field River Tree." Accessible
and agreeably melodic with the right balance of proggy instrumental playfulness,
Evolution for a Party of One boasts a winning formula through which Synema can
evolve with confidence.

I can only tell you what I hear, and that is well-performed
progressive rock.

On this album SYNEMA is Mike Adkins and Steve Nellesson, they
play with lot of electronic instruments. But it's not so evidant all the way
